ITSC 2021 will only accept online abstract submissions of 150 - 200 words or less in English via our online abstract service. Please click on the button above to begin your submission process. SPECIAL NOTE: ITSC MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS
Authors of high-quality completed manuscripts may be invited to submit to a special conference edition of the Journal of Thermal Spray Technology. Please indicate your interest in that option when submitting your abstract. All papers that appear in JTST are published on SpringerLink and indexed by GoogleScholar.

Your full-length manuscript will be placed through the same rigorous review process as is typical for this journal and must be accepted by the reviewers and editors in order to be included in this special issue. Please note that it is typical to extend on the content of the original submission to the ITSC by providing additional details on your methodology, results, and analysis by way of more in-depth discussion, and expanding the reference list. This will enhance the quality of your manuscript and the ultimate usefulness of your research work.

Study on the atmospheric plasma spraying Fe- based materials to obtain the wear resistance layer

Among some plasma spray processes the atmospheric plasma spraying, is one of the progressive thermal spraying due to its versatility of a wide range of materials and the reasonable saving cost of consumable gas.

The interest of this process is increasing with the substitution the expensive material on Fe-based materials. Some publications underlined the importance of the correct choice the spraying parameters as:  spray distance; plasma gun power, particle size; particle velocity, substrate roughness, gas flow rate, gas mixture ratio, etc. whoever, the whole main shortcoming of this studies is that they did not show the simultaneous correlation between all important spraying parameters, especially the bilateral influence of the process on tribological properties that limited the practical application.

The aim of this paper is to study the influence of all critical parameters on the quality of the antifriction layer in terms of Fe-based materials. The results of study have been presented in empirical formulas, including all main spraying parameter and the evaluation of the tribological properties in comparison with the traditional materials.
