For the junior student, an introduction to engineering education always plays s definite role in their future career. In this context, they should be acclimated to all steps of the entire product lifecycle (Standard 1). Specifically, the mission statement must be outlined from the beginning of the engineering task in order to focus their active thinking and save the cost/time ratio. This project is to design and engineer the electric wheelchair for disabled persons. Each team consists of 3-4 students, assigned by the instructor, to investigate the demand of certain wheelchair types (Irish wheelchair Association, 2014) in the community. The data produced from the study indicated that a series of CDIO are needed to be integrated into the current curriculum to help sharpen the graduates engineering and entrepreneurial acumen. We need the integrated approach (Standard 3) in teaching the technical discipline, namely the manufacturing processes. The students must be acquainted with production design & CAD, the metal working process, the dynamic calculation driver, the industrial esthetic design, and skills testing with the patient. The workspace covers the on-site practice also (Standard 6), so it would be attractive and very useful for the development of production skills for engineers. The general purpose of this outline of the mechatronics discipline is to encourage students to seek out and solve urgent socio-economic problems. This is done through integrating various skillsets to create feasible answers to the problems presented and select the most ideal one based on their learned design and implementation knowledge. This paper aims to benefit those colleges and universities who are looking to improve upon their introductory technical procedures.

The paper presents the researched results on design and manufacture of automatic nailing machines for wooden reels (drums). Some creative solutions and difficulties related to application in industry, had been discussed during continuous improving machine. The researched resuls outcome was implemented through a contract signed with Viettel. After outfitting machine, research team got one Patent issued by Ministry of Science and Techonology Viet Nam by the end of 2019.
